Every child that walks through our door is entitled to achieve their dreams. Our job is to help them overcome obstacles, access opportunities, and find their potential.

The obstacles, sadly, are great: extreme poverty, food insecurity, gang violence, and substance abuse are pervasive in our kids’ neighborhoods and home environments. Our youth are disconnected from the world without access to information technology. The opportunities are out of reach: poor high school graduation rates and chronic unemployment are a result of woefully underfunded schools and blighted business districts in our communities.

Despite the desperation that exists in the lives of our youth, we are able to offer hope. Boys & Girls Club members hold in their hearts not just their future, but the future of the community, of our grand City of Philadelphia. They are not just our kids, they are your kids — and they need you now.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia will become one of the premier Boys & Girls Club organizations in the country, solidifying its position as the leading youth guidance and development agency in the community through quality staff, facilities and programs, supported by ﬁnancial stability and clearly deﬁned standards.
